what exactly are you trying to know about building computers? Where components go, or just where to buy parts?

It's pretty much foolproof. They only fit together a certain way. Whatever motherboard you buy should come with instructions on how to connect everything to it.

Alright, now i just gotta figure what components will work together and stuff. Where can i find that at?

when you look up computer components, each comes with info on what they work with and they don't work with. For example a motherboard on newegg lists its specs on what type of RAM it takes, the type of processor can be put in it, etc. You just have to research and read on the specs of each comoponent before you make a decision. Find out the best that you want thats in your budget.

Computers aren't puzzles to majority's surprise, each slot on the motherboard has set slots that each corresponding spot has certain parts to. (i.e Ram slots)

The hard part is to find which part works best together because each part has a different architectural style. For example a Nvidia GTX 275 has a different processing stream than a Nvidia GTX 260. Same thing goes for a ATI radeon 4870 to a 4850.
